Who we are

The Access Center for Human Rights (ACHR) is a non-profit, non-governmental human rights organization founded in Lebanon in 2017 and re-established in France in 2020. It comprises a group of human rights defenders with expertise in legal and local and international advocacy. It launched its activities in Lebanon out of a belief in supporting the rights of refugees at a time of increasing grave violations against them. ACHR works specifically to monitor and document the human rights situation of refugees and publishes periodic publications aimed at raising awareness and advocating locally and internationally to ensure the rights of refugees in countries of asylum until their voluntary, dignified, and safe return to their country of origin.
