Today marks the anniversary of the Israeli war on Lebanon which claimed thousands and lives and in which Israel committed a number of human rights abuses. The victims of these crimes under international law are still awaiting justice, reparations and accountability for these violations and Israel has continued to engage in human rights violations with impunity in the region. Throughout the war, ACHR documented violations with a focus on underreported and undocumented violations facing Syrian refugees in Lebanon. See the statement here:

Access Center for Human Rights is committed to upholding the rule of law and combating impunity. It maintains a non-religious and non-sectarian stance and remains independent of any political affiliation. Access Center advocates for the collective and individual rights of refugees by investigating and highlighting the numerous violations of international law they suffer. The center advocates for the voluntary, dignified, and safe return of refugees to their countries of origin. It has been registered in Lebanon since 2017 and in France since 2020.
